Every room is designed so it is completely private, so you can have the curtains open on the entire glass wall in the bedroom and look out over the Bay of Biscay, and soak in the tub while inhaling the ocean air. You are practically outside. They really take care of you, here. They have a spa, and they are attached to the Akelarre Restaurant (3 Michelin stars) that started it all. "

"What a surprising nice hotel on the hillside. Buses no. 19 and 45 have a bus stop next to it. The bus rise is pleasant and you pay €1.85 to get on. On two days, we walked to the old town. The room has a nice tv (all Spanish channrels, except two or three. You can still broacast yours smartphone or iPad and watch Netflix. Loved the shower and the warm water in the bidet. "What a beautiful hotel in a picturesque beach town! Splurge to get a room with a view! Staff was amazing and friendly! Breakfast was delicious-coffee, breads, cheese, sausage, fruit, and tortilla. We walked into town to enjoy fresh grilled seafood. 15th century building with so much character! Would stay again ! "
