"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean! Linens and beds were great. Kitchen had everything we needed! The windy road in was daunting at first, but we got used to it. Andrea the property manager was so kind and super helpful with tips on the national parks and navigating. Overall a great stay!!"

"The lodge was nestled in the woods and the view was beautiful. We could see deer outside our window. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There isn’t an elevator, but we were given the choice when checking in to wait and get a room on the 1st floor. There is a little bit of a climb to get up to the rooms, but luggage assistance is available if needed. There wasn’t any air in the room but a fan in the window and a ceiling fan. But the room was cool and comfortable. There were also chairs outside the hotel area to sit in and relax and enjoy the scenery. If going to the park, I highly recommend staying here. There were also several food options at the Lodge Pole(parking was limited at high traffic times, recommend taking the free shuttle over there), but food was great! Food was also very good at the Wuksachi Lodge. A microwave and fridge were also available in the rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly, even when we had a minor issue one night, it was resolved very quickly. The property was also a central location to travel during the day to see the sights."

"It's a basic room in an older hotel at the very end of Kings Canyon. You are getting Location and several extra hours of Not driving to the Park. I used it for a Rae Lakes Loop Hike. 1 day before and 1 day after the Hike. I would do it all over again... Small Breakfast Counter with a Burrito that was delish. Small Store with Gifts and a Good Supply of Stuff to Eat and Drink. You are right on the Kings River as you see in the Pic."

Montecito Sequoia Lodge

"Our tween boys said this was their favorite place they have stayed on this trip. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards available for personal use on the lake. We attempted tennis, but learned we are not a tennis family. There was basketball available too and a trampoline. The kids were def loving all of the fun. And the buffet for dinner and breakfast were pretty decent. Desserts were AMAZING! We stayed in one of the personal cabins, which was nice for space and perfect for our family. We also enjoyed s'mores in the evening. Something to note, there is not a great system for your luggage and they offer wheelbarrow type carts to haul your luggage to your room/cabin/etc. It can be quite a haul, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us, might be for some. Any items that were 'dirty' or unkempt were from people leaving things out in places, can't really be the fault of the property. I'd sum this property up as a more camp type of accommodation (which it sounds like their family camp is pretty fun). Overall, I'd stay again and would suggest it for people wanting to visit the park. The location was pretty perfect."

Kings Cabin in Wilsonia

"The cabin is quaint and cozy, with Grant Grove Village and shops nearby. It's the perfect place to come back to after exploring the park. We had a wonderful time in Kings Canyon and really appreciated having the cabin as our home base. We downloaded maps ahead of time, and our Verizon cellphone service worked around Wilsonia and Grant Village. There is wifi available at Grant Village, but we rarely used it. We mostly explored the park, visited the information center, and joined a few of the Ranger-led tours. We packed an ice chest with snacks and food staples; it was good to have a refrigerator, stove, and oven, and a freezer to refreeze our ice packs for day trips to Kings Canyon Roads End, Hume Lake, and Grant Grove. Still so much to explore; we hope to come back soon."
