"The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and relaxing. We did multiple hikes around the property and loved it. The food was great and the staff were very helpful. We especially enjoyed Zach at the bar and his food recommendations."

"The first room we were assigned did not have a working AC so it was about 100 degrees when we arrived, also the smoke detector had a low battery and was beeping frequently. It was about 15 feet up on the wall. The property did eventually put us in a different room but it took 4 hours for the room to cool down to a reasonable temperature. We were given some scraps for towels and half a roll of toilet paper (family of 5). The kitchen functioned but it was not equipped as expected. We were asked to clean but were given no supplies or dish towels. The whole place was not DIRTY with dust or bugs or anything disgusting but it was generally unkempt and uncared for. Once I compared it to a rustic camping experience and we were able to cool off from the extreme heat- we could make the best of it. "

"The cabin room was very nice. Most of the property was airstreams and a few glamping tents. The clubhouse was very nice and was always open and offered coffee, hot chocolate, tea. Breakfast is granola cereal and milk. Or order from the kitchen. We enjoyed a house salad and chicken tenders one night and flatbread on another. Large portions of both meals. The general store had a to go sandwich ready which was perfect for a quick picnic in Sequoia NP without facing the crowds in the lodge restaurants. "

"We were so happy with our stay at Lazy J Ranch Motel! Each of the rooms are more like little cabins than a hotel and the pool was a nice surprise. The mountain views were absolutely gorgeous, highly recommend checking on the goats by the check in building. The room was clean and was well worth the price we paid. "

"This is a lovely charming place in the middle of the woods. It is equipped with all the essentials and the photos reflect this very accurately. It is conveniently close to the park entrance. All instructions are helpful and accurate."
