"The hotel was very modern and comfortable. It felt like a cosy coffee shop in the lobby, with a lovely bar on the side. The staff in both the hotel and bar were extremely friendly and the free welcoming drink was a nice added bonus! The room was bright and the bed comfy with a lovely sea view. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Margate! Thank you for a brilliant night :) x"

"This was my old college 40 years ago so it was a trip down memory lane and lovely to see it put to good use. Great large room had everything you want except some draw space & maybe some coat hooks plenty of room to fit them in. Breakfast was ok but would be nice to have more of a waiting service. Shame the bar closed at 10pm when you just come back from a night out & the coffee machine is turned off for cleaning well before 10pm, these are all minor things & I would return again."

"We celebrated our 42nd Anniversary with an amazing seaview room with a balcony and complementary drinks. The view was fantastic.The Haddock and Chips and Taglioni Pasta at the restaurant were delicious and the chef was able to accommodate our unspicy chicken wings which was perfect! Kudos to the staff and management for the care and making our stay so memorable. We would come back."

"There was no clear indication of how we accessed the property. Despite trying to communicate with the owner, there was no response. We had to just turn up and hope for the best. Luckily, after getting to the pod, the key was there and the stay was good. It has everything you need and is in a great location. "

Check inn was quick and easy and entrance to hotel is actually separate to the adjacent pub which was great as we wasn't disturbed by any noise from the revellers on a weekend! "I love these type of B&B’s. This B&B is steeped in history built in the 18th century, On the land owned by the Spencer family, Vincent Van Gogh also lived on the square, so this is not a modern hotel if that’s what you’re looking for, it has steep stairs and smallish rooms, but is full of character, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the hospitality was fantastic and the breakfast was delicious, the pub on the corner is very friendly and only a short walk to the beach."
