"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was really good with a big choice of food. The food in the evening was lovely too. Just a short walk down into the centre."

"Breakfast selection was standard for a HI express. Unfortunately in this hotels case, all of the bread, and especially the bread rolls were too stale to have eaten. Eating in the restaurant in the evening was a very slow process. Over 45 minutes to receive any food. Some people waited over an hour. Room was not particularly clean, debris on the carpet, and a general feeling of rushed housekeeping. Found a child’s teddy bear under the bed, and the staff couldn’t have seemed less bothered. Air conditioning in the room didn’t work, and both bedside lights were so poor that candles would have been a better option. "

"You pay for basic you get basic, that’s not a bad thing though. The hotel is clean and warm the staff are friendly and helpful, parking is easy and on site. Great view and easy to get too. I would stay here again."
