"Nice and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to bus stop (bus 20) takes you to Magnificent Mile, The Bean…and bus 8 took us right to Rate field for a White Sox game. Just blocks down from Randolph Ave… lots of fun outdoor eateries!! Only recommendation- don’t take a room next to elevator because you’ll hear it go up and down ALL night long."

"Me and my wife stood for a little getaway and celebration of our anniversary. This hotel and staff is wonderful great attitude cleanliness was beautiful. Food was great. We had sushi from one restaurant for dinner and then the next morning we had a breakfast buffet in the main restaurant. The food was delicious. "I stayed at the Travelodge by Wyndham Downtown Chicago for three nights with my partner while visiting the city. I’ll admit I was a little nervous when booking after reading some mixed reviews, but for the price, I decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and got to our room. It’s an older hotel, but it’s clean, comfortable, and in a great location. If you’re looking for an affordable place to stay downtown without sacrificing comfort, this is an excellent value."

"We got a king room on the top floor overlooking Buckingham Fountain and Lake Michigan. So pretty. Last night we watched the fireworks show off of Navy Pier. "

"Great hotel and next to the theater we were going to, which was convenient. It was also easy to walk to other attractions. It felt very safe . And the bar was Great!! Honestly i would stay here again just for the bar! My bartender answered questions, gave delicious suggestions, and made a great drink! Strong, but not overpowering (bring cash for tip). "
