"The rooms are clean, neat and tidy. They are older so be prepared, but the beds are extremely comfortable and the pillows were lovely. Bathrooms are clean, but older. The staff were extremely helpful and were there 24 hours a day so it you have a 5am check out to catch your flight, there is someone there to help you. The pool area is clean and neat,its a large pool and it was crystal clear. Very nice. There was a bus stop just out of the front of the hotel for lines 20 and 42, so it was excellent for that, the opposite side of the road had the same lines, to take you into downtown Waikiki. There was another bus stop just up the road on the same block to take you to just about everywhere on the island. Its a good 15 mins walk to Ala Moana Shopping centre, and at least 30mins walk to downtown Waikiki for a pretty quick walker so keep in mind to bring your walking shoes, or book a weekly bus pass via thebus.org or from 7Eleven stores to save a bit of money on the bus fares. "
