Loved this place! The breakfasts were the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There was also afternoon snacks and some lovely sitting areas with boardgames. If you want a quiet place with traditional charm this is the hotel for you.

Beautiful hotel, nicely appointed room with a jetted tub, hot breakfast prepared fresh every morning and very attentive staff. Would definitely stay again when visiting Victoria.

This was a wonderful place to stay, the decor and rooms were in keeping with the Victorian-style home, and the beds and bathroom facilities were modern and comfortable. There was a delicious home-made snack available when we arrived, and the patio seating area was beautiful & quiet. Quiet and tucked away, it is hard to believe that you are so close to downtown Victoria! The Breakfast was all home-made, so fresh and delicious! I loved our short stay, but will definitely stay again! The only cautions are that there are a lot of stairs, so let the staff know when you book if you have limited mobility or need accessible areas. The parking area is also not huge, so if you have a larger truck or vehicle, you may have to park in nearby areas. If you have a small or midsize, no problem. One final item; the STAFF was amazing!! So friendly, and the service was 5-star!!

Loved this property. One of the best we've ever stayed at. Super friendly and helpful staff, great quiet location but still within walking distance to downtown or the ocean. Best breakfasts, felt like we were on a cruiseship, but better! And beautiful room. Don't change. Will be back for sure, thank you!
