I was pleasantly surprised. Was a bit nervous but it was nicer than the pictures online. It’s a no frills type of place but very centrally located, clean and staff was great. Would definitely recommend if you are on a budget.

First time I see service desk closes at 5 pm should be 24/7 very uncomfortable small 2 matters bed keeps sliding to sides toilet tank was leaking water all day and disturbing your sleep room service just fixed the sheets but didn’t replace the towels phone in the room is just for show AC wasn’t working and there was no one to ask how you couldn’t open windows then you had mosquitos coming in so it was very tiring 2 nights

Idéalement situé dans un quartier calme

Emplacement idéal proche des restaurants mais un peu l'écart de la foule, ce qui est un luxe a Venise. L'hébergement est propre, mais le confort est basique. En cela, le rapport qualité/prix est moyen. On paie surtout l'emplacement... L'accueil est chaleureux et le personnel serviable.

Very quiet place with great service. Rooms have view on a beautiful garden, without any noise. And there are great restaurants and bars just next door. Less than 15 minutes walk from the train/bus station. Check location of "Antica Raffineria" on Google maps because it's not accurate on hotels.com webpage.

Quiet with lots of restaurants around still

Really quiet which is a plus in Venice. Still many restaurants at your doorstep without being swarmed by fellow tourists. It is a 20-minute walk from the train station - possible with small luggage. The interior could use some TLC.

物非所值

夏天入住要小心，下午3時後無人接待，房門鎖匙貼在接待處牆邊自取，冷氣開了等如無開非常熱，未打開窗門都有蚊子，所以無法打開，翌日早上我們希望有電風扇幫幫，但到夜晚都未有提供，WiFi有等如無訊號太差，到景點及火車站需20分鐘路程，夏天比較難受冬天還可以！

Great location & great hosts

We stayed for three nights. The accommodation is clean and provided everything we needed. Before we arrived the hosts were happy to help with our questions and provided information and a map to assist our transit from airport to the room. We arrived earlier than the check in time and was going to ask to leave our bags there but we were given the room earlier than the check in time as it was ready. We were also able to leave our bags there after we checked out and before we travelled back to the airport. The hosts are helpful and friendly and cared for a good stay. The location is in a quiet area with a some places to eat along the canal and a few shops. We enjoyed the area because although away from the tourist crowds it was near enough to walk to the areas we wanted to see or to reach Grand Canal to take the water bus. There is a Coop supermarket around a 10 minute slow walk away just before the Grand Canal. Wifi was provided free of charge. The entrance is gated into a very nice outside entrance area before going up to the rooms through a door. There was a safe in the room. Just to finish in the outside area around the room, we always felt safe and happy to walk around there. A truly great choice of room for us. Thank you to the hosts.

Safe, spotlessly clean and quiet

A perfect place to stay while in Venice. Maria was very welcoming and friendly. As was her husband. The room was spacious and with a view over a canal. It was quiet and very secure. Spotlessly clean too. Lovely garden and courtyard. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely place to anyone visiting Venice. We were allowed to store our bags there for a few hours on our last day.

Good place hard to find.

the place is close to Train Station (santa lucia), and close to every attraction. It's a little bit hard to find the hotel, it's inside a narrow street (as many in venecia), when you arrive just ring the bell. Nice place, the recepcionist was very kind.

Limpio, algo incómodo y con pocos servicios.

La ubicación es buena. El lugar es limpio pero con escasas comodidades, como por ejemplo una sola silla, televisor pequeño y viejo, no hay ascensores, es necesario arrastrar el equipaje por escalera, muy incómodo. Abundancia de mosquitos. La atención del conserje fue amable y respetuosa.

El hotel es muy confortable. No conocimos a nadie en recepción, se nos dieron indicaciones en un sobre junto con las llaves y formato de check in. En lo particular no me molestó eso, pero igual algunas personas pueden considerarlo descortés. Yo disfruté la estancia y aprecio la confianza para hospedarse.
