Great stay in Tokyo
The Tokyo Marriott is a wonderful hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and the location is perfect - walking distance to the Shinagawa Train Station.

Unlike other VIP Access hotels, there is no additional benefit arising from reservation of Tokyo Marriot Hotel through Expedia, e.g. discount in breakfast. In general, the room was spacious and the service of this hotel was good. During my stay, the room service staff had forgotten to replace towel and to refill teabags. Yet, hotel management attended to customer's request very promptly. I will consider staying in this hotel again.

Loved this property. Close to everything! Great location and the staff was super helpful. ONLY NEGATIVE WAS THE TENNIS COURTS WERE CLOSED FOR GOLDEN WEEK.

Nice. Good size room and bathroom. Hotel provides free shuttle to JR Shinagawa Station with reasonable schedule (3 shuttles each hour during most of the day). Within walking distance (around 15 minutes) to JR Shinagawa Station with a small shopping mall and 2 very good supermarkets.

Comfortable room in dated hotel.
Overall OK but was expecting more for the price outside of central Tokyo. The staff was very attentive yet the facilities were lacking. A small understaffed reception area and a run down, separate workout facility put a tarnish on my stay. Happy to report the bed was super comfortable.

Great location in Shinagawa
Excellent service at this hotel. The Shinagawa Station is 12 min away on foot but there is also a free of charge shuttle between the hotel and the station. The buffet breakfast is amazing, a bit pricey but if you are Gold Rewards member or higher is at no extra cost.

Good basic business hotel
Without any major tourist attractions nearby, I would say this is a business hotel. Nearest train station Shinagawa (free shuttle bus) is 10 mins away which is not too bad. We asked for power socket adaptor but not available, seems not a Marriott standard in this aspect. Typical Japanese way of management, what you booked is what you get, no flexibility at all.
