It’s a nice little place on a little uphill near Shinagawa station. Transport is convenient and friendly staff. If you use yamato luggage service, it’s great. And there’s not many convenient stores nearby.

The staff were excellent and super helpful. The rooms were a little bit small though. Everything was pretty good overall. The only downside is that the hotel is located on a hill so it was difficult to drag our luggages all the way up.

It was an airport hotel that fit our needs perfectly. Breakfast was filling with enough options for anyone. 10 minute walk to the train station for direct transport to the airport. Yes, the room was tiny, but 3 adults fit okay for 1 night. Would stay there again the night before a flight out.

Was extremely small, barely room to move in room and staff was not helpful. Gave little and bad information. Stayed one fewer night checking out a day early but no money back. Beds very hard. Would never stay there again. Also a bit of a walk to train station.

Great service at Shinagawa Tobu hotel. Rooms are small and quite dated. Breakfast is simple. However, the service of the staff made the dated decor and simple breakfast enjoyable. I would stay again as the location is great and price is good too.

Everything was great! Just the size of room was very tight since we use sofa bed to squeeze 3 ppl in. However, we had good night right after long flight! I love the stuff at front desk! They were so polite & great smiles to welcome us! Happy stay!!

Extremely uncomfortable everything. Linens, bed and bathroom were terrible. When I say tiny rooms rooms, I mean if you fell over you would hit every wall in the place. No food available around the area either.

OK cost performance, but breakfast was not great
Very close to Shinagawa station makes this a great location, although the uphill hike is a bit of surprise if you have heavy luggage. Nice and clean room, although the bathroom shows a bit its age. The western style breakfast beats any breakfast buffet at a moderately priced US hotel, but based on nearly annual trips to Japan for more than 20 years, I would rank breakfast at this hotel rather low compared to breakfast at other hotels in Japan. Especially the quality of the croissants and buns was pretty low, which is a bit surprising in a country that has outstanding bakeries. Also, I love the sliced bread that they sell in Japanese supermarkets for toasting, but there was no sliced bread at all.

I didn't know that it was a few blocks up to the hill from the train station. With suitcases dragging behind you could be a problem, especially in summer. My room #428 was OK but my son's room #429 was a big disappointment because the bathroom wall was covered with mold between old tiles:( Since this Hotel is more like a Business Hotel, perhaps they're trying to fix their problems one room at a time. My son and grand-daughter were unlucky this time!

I have stayed here several times within this past year. Price is affordable and won't break your wallet. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. Conveniently located to Shinagawa station. However, walking up the hill with baggage can be difficult. I wish they had a shuttle available. No convenient store in premises but nearby.
