This hotel is in an extremely convenient location for the Haneda Monorail making travel back to the airport really easy. However the facility itself is just OK. Checking in was a hassle as I had booked two rooms under my name and when I got there was advised they couldnt allow me to do that and one reservation had to be changed. The rooms were all extremely tiny, like smaller than the average hotel so if you have a lot of luggage this hotel isnt for you. The sheets on our bed were very yellowed and had splotchy stains. Also, dont expect any amenities other than a toothbrush and pajamas that are available in the lobby.

I loved our stay at Hotel Tavinos Hamamatsucho! The room was perfect, it was small but had clever storage under the bed which was very convenient! We were there for a full 13 nights, the room could be cleaned regularly if you wanted and was always spotless when it was. The staff were also really helpful when we requested extra pillows and the connected Family Mart was very useful for everything else! The location was perfect as it was a 10min walk from a busy train station and there were plenty of fun food and drinks places in the local area.

While the room was a little small, there was plenty of room for two adults after storing our luggage underneath the bed. There is a convenience store on the ground floor and a station just a minute or two from the from there. Check in/ out went smoothly and all the staff we encountered were kind and helpful.

I like that it was very accessible to the train station, and that there are diners and restaurants around the area, not to mention that it is a walking distance to Daimon which has a lot more eating places, and of course Zojoji temple and Tokyo Tower. Rooms are sufficient and perfect for all the on-the-go tourist who just need a bed & bath, but needs space for luggage. It is clean enough, but I still do think however that the hallway carpets can be cleaner. All in all, i would still recommend the place.

Tavinos was so nice and clean - thank you! We loved how close it was to a well-connected station, especially for our final ride to the airport. We had a serendipitous waterbus ride to the Skytree when we had time to stroll across the street from the hotel. What a fun area!! Our room was so tiny but it was great overall and we’re glad we stayed there. Thanks!

While the room and bed is big and pretty soft, the cleaning service is terrible. house cleaning did my room twice and everytime I found tons of disgusting stains all over the covers, blankets and even the towels. And the rooms are insanely dusty even when you open the windows. Not a fan of this hotel for the cleanliness alone.

This was a great place to stay for convenience but the space is pretty limited. The beds aren’t super comfortable either. You shouldn’t spend much time in your hotel room in Tokyo anyway though.

I took the ferry to Miyake Jima. This is right next to terminal and short walk to monorail station to airport. Very easy and convenient. Room is small but fine. Clean. Quiet. Shower was great.

Walking distance to two big train stations, as well as one that takes you across to the island at your door step, also walking distance to the monorail to Haneda airport. Great view of the water. Lots of food options, coffee. The hotel room itself is small but exactly as expected. I would definitely stay again.

It's a 6-7 minute walk from the nearest station, quite pleasing if you don't have to push big luggage. Overall it's a nice little hotel near the seashore, and easy access to many food options and a convenience store. What we didn't like was the disappointing cleanliness of the bedsheets: there are visible strains of small hair / furs on the sheets, and even inside the quilts, I would not call it clean. Same with the carpet - wasn't sure what's on it. The bathroom was clean and the staff was nice.

Very cool property! Loved the comics art around the hotel and each floor and each room has different comics art. Enjoyed the location and was super easy to get to Daiba (Odaiba). The view of the bay is stunning. I stayed in room 1205 and the view was so beautiful! The lounge area is nice and they have a nice patio to chill outdoors. Not so big on amenities because this is an eco friendly facility. They have a Family Mart on the 1st floor which is super convenient. There is a Tullys coffee 3 mins away. The smell of the ocean and sound of the bay was worth the stay. The room was considerably clean as in bed and bathroom. The walls and carpets were filthy and had a lot of stains on them. Walls had scruff marks and the room didn’t have a mini fridge. Luggage storage was limited during my visit. A lot of people checking in and some left luggage to explore the area. Worth staying for one night just for the experience! Staff were wonderful!

Great location near the ferry terminal
Very clean room and super friendly staff!!! Phenomenal location near the ferry terminal. Also pretty convenient to the Hamamatsucho and Daimon train stations. On the downside the room was a bit small/tight and there was a $20 fee to have maid service.

The bed is big, which is good, but it's 98% of the room size. The TV got too close. You have A small folding chair and a table are too small to do anything. If you plan to leave the hotel so early and to come back so late, you'd be fine.

The rooms are small but have everything you need, and the location is convenient. However, the double bed had two separate mattresses with a big gap between them, which was a little uncomfortable at times.

Water front location. You can choose the ocean/pier view room upon check up subj to avail. 10 min walk to JR and Metro Stations. 2 min walk to another train Station which covers a different area. If you airport is Haneda, the monorail Station is just next to JR Station, so very convenient.

Loved having keycard access to the elevator and main entry for after hours. Hotel staff was pleasant and being able to grab your own amenities is nice. My only complaint was the bed - it was too firm for my liking which resulted in interrupted sleep.

The good thing about the hotel is the close metro and parks. The bad things are the VERY small rooms, pictures online have been taken by wide lense camera so the rooms look big, trust me, they are not. If you have a dust allergy or asthma dont go, vents are not cleaned and were packed with dust and floors are carpeted with big stains. Waching machines uses cold water and you need to buy detergent in the supermarket downstairs, do not trust the staff when they say the machine automatically give detergent.

Our 2 week stay at Hotel Tavinos was great! The hotel was very clean, and the employees were all very polite and helpful the entire time. Many of them understood English, and were helpful answering our travel questions at the lobby desk. The rooms were new, clean, and the bathroom was GREAT compared to other Tokyo hotels! Our only complaint was the small size of everything, but this is to be expected in Tokyo. Hardly heard our neighbors on both sides, great soundproofing? The pillow was a bit dense for my liking, so found a replacement at Donki-Hote. Each room has an A/C unit that also heats. Great location relatively close to Akihabara, and brisk walk to nearest major rail line (the Yamanote line.) There was lot of construction being done on the surrounding buildings though, so it was a bit noisey. We had a great view of Tokyo Bay from our 13 story window though! Would definitely stay again!

Disliked: Cleanliness
The staff was great everytime that we needed something but their policy of not cleaning the room everyday but every 3 days is not very good, I understand that we need to help the planet but I don’t see how making a bed will affect our climate. I really liked the hotel and it is very well located, close to the Yamanote Line which is one of the best lines to move around Tokyo, I think a little bit more effort on the cleaning part and this will be a very good place to stay.

Modern and Comfortable Hotel at the Great location
There are the dock and yurikamome line in fornt of the hotel. Check-in and Check-out are very easy to use at the machine. When I had any troubles and something to need, all stuff would help me kindly and sincerly. There are daily changing towels and throwing out trash and temporary room-cleansing service. This was the very advanced and reasonable service I have experienced ever. I willing to visit this hotel for my next trip to Japan.

Good for one night
We only stayed one night. The rooms are very small, but for one night ok. Metro and supermarket are directly in the hotel, very good!

Ideal location.

The location is quite good. Very near the train and 24 hrs Family mart. The room is small but this's Tokyo. So, It's good for the price. And the room's new and clean. Staff is nice. See you again next trip.
