"TL;DR: Exceptional stay! World-class staff, spotless rooms, free laundry, and delicious daily breakfast. Dandy Hotel offers boutique hospitality at a very reasonable price. Pros: World-Class Staff: The absolute highlight of the stay! Huge shoutout to Ting, Hui, April, Kim, and Alex for being exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. Their communication was proactive before I even arrived. Room & Housekeeping: Extremely clean and comfortable with excellent AC, humidity control, blackout curtains, and a quiet fridge. Housekeeping does a fantastic job and easily accommodates your schedule. Great Amenities: Free guest laundry, strong shower water pressure, great bidets, and free bottled water/snacks throughout the day. Delicious Breakfast: A great mix of local Taiwanese and Western staples with daily variety. Prime Location: Walking distance to the metro/MRT station, local restaurants, and shopping. Safe, clean, and vibrant neighborhood. Cons: Peak-Hour Wi-Fi: Signal can slow down slightly during high-usage evening hours, but overall manageable. Tips for Future Guests: Noise Expectations: Despite some reviews noting noise, my room was completely quiet after 10 PM—quieter than my apartment back in the US! Local Climate: Taipei is humid and tropical. You may see a stray bug or minor cosmetic hairline cracks from local earthquakes—this is standard in Taiwan, not neglect. The hotel actively performs pest control and maintenance."

"This was our second hotel in Taipei after we left the city to see another city. Wish we had booked here the first time. For a smaller hotel the room still had plenty of space for my friend and I. Breakfast had some options for both of us since one is vegan and staff was very friendly. Made use of the laundry machines and enjoyed the convenience to other places while still being a little bit more quiet around."
