"Loved the quiet and the seating just outside the cabin door. Spent time visiting with our friends who had the adjoining cabin. View of the redwoods and the creek enhanced our escape experience. Close enough to town to visit shops and pick up pizza. NOTE: room was tight (which was expected) and the bathroom particularly cramped. But for us for 3 nights, it worked!"
"Amazing atmosphere and very kind hosts, one thing to note, and honestly wasn’t too big of a deal but if you’re planning on sleeping in, there are kids and you are below them so it can get a little loud in the mornings; which is not a big deal at all because it is pretty clearly communicated, it just is something to note; they are very accommodating as well, overall a wonderful experience and will most likely be back"

"This is a very special place. Tucked away in the hills of Aptos, it's quiet, scenic and relaxing. The room was very cozy and while there's only a refrigerator and microwave, the property is so nice, after eating out one night, we just brought takeout dinners home and sat out on the deck (check out Gayle's bakery and the salad/hot bar at New Leaf). The highlight was the pool and jacuzzi, can't say I've ever seen a nicer indoor pool at a private residence."
