Was a reasonable motel at a reasonable price convenient to thev town centre. Rooms and common areas need attention, paint scuff marks , worn carpets, dirty oven in common kitchen area.

Nice motel and great price. Staff were quick to remedy a missing tv remote. Plenty of off street parking too. Room was very clean and well presented. Would stay there again.

Our shower was blocked, need to manually pump the drain so the water would flow. Bags of laundry were placed on the side of the stairs and can be a safety hazard. Curtains have water stains.

I am a 72 year old who found the bed was very uncomfortable. This accommodation was very basic with no elevator, and no one around to help us with our heavy bags.

we had asked for a wheelchair accessible room but when we booked in we had been allocated a 2nd floor room only accessible by stairs, when I commented and complained we were allocated a ground floor room, Very limited facilities, no dining table 1 dining chair, no toilet in the motel room, we had to go out into a public corridor and use shared facilities. not ideal when my wife is handicapped, I had to be woken in the night 3 times when she needed to access the toilet, no tea towel in the kitchen to dry the dishes, no dish mop and dish detergent almost empty.

This motel does have a few small signs of wear and tear, but the price compared to others in Taupo makes up for that. Very conveniently located close to town where dinning options are. Great covered car parking . Just a note to management, don’t replace the milk with creamer sachets, they are rubbish! You can’t have that in a cup of tea… regards.

I booked a basic room with shared bathroom given it was a quick overnight on a drive to Wellington. Nothing wrong at all....it is what it said on the tin, a basic room. However, no aircon or coffee/tea facilities which was described in the promo material. But overall, it did the job.

The power went off several times during our stay and we couldn’t turn lights on in our room or restroom. There were stains on the headboard. Ripped carpet in a few places. It was nice to have a kitchen area to use for breakfasts. Parking was easy. Nice location for walking distance to grocery store and downtown.

Smells really nice when you walk into the reception and the guy was really lovely and helpful. Kitchen was well stocked which was great.

Good stay
Good walkable location with on-site parking. Our room was spacious and equipped with a fridge, kettle and sink but there is also a big kitchen / dining area on-site with all the basic facilities that you need to get by. We stayed New Years Day so there was noise between 2am and 4am from late-homers, but the other nights were fine noise wise, just the odd door banging.

Location is the only plus
Clean enough. Good location. Basic, BASIC stay. 2 twins pushed together is not a king, and the sofa bed was a joke. Unfortunately, we didn't find out what it was and how bad it was until after front desk hours. Basic place, good location, wouldn't stay again though.
