Greeted with a very offensive smell in our room. I'm surprised the cleaners never noticed it when preparing the room. Facilities otherwise very clean.

It was okay the room could of been vacuumed a bit more. They didn’t provide me with milk for Sunday morning coffee which was not cool. No remote for the tv either.

The only thing I liked about this property was the location. Now that I have been away from this property, and cooled down, In mind and body! I will just say it was extremely hot outside and inside. No AC., poor air circulation, windows only open a few inches, overhang and adjacent building block breeze,fans did not help. We stayed only 1 night. out of 4 no refund on prepaid booking.

Awesome property. Clean and presentable. Was a bit unsure after reading mixed reviews. Yes the plunge pool is stained - if you know anything about Sulfur- you’d understand. Had Lakeview room - fantastic view. Great outdoor seating. Very happy

Le séjour s’est très bien passé, le personnel était très gentille mais le confort et la propreté pas vraiment ça. Très peu de vaisselle pour un appartement familiale 2 chambres. Le drap du lit parentale était déchiré, la moquette effilée à plusieurs endroit, l’arrière du logement jonché de saletés . Ça fait plusieurs années que je loge dans cet établissement mais je n’y retournerai sûrement plus.

We booked a studio room which had no air conditioning, it was approximately 32degrees in our room, 100% uncomfortable, considering all other rooms had air conditioning, when asked to be moved to a room with air conditioning this was not an option considering there were rooms available, instead we got a fan, two bottles of water and a bowl of ice. Totally unacceptable temperature to be expected to stay and sleep in.

Unit was clean but very dated. We had unit 26. the exterior block wall gets a lot of sun in the day and then radiates heat into the unit until about 5am. The heat pump is completely inadequate. 2 nights of very poor sleep. Lady at the desk wasn't interested when I told her about the heat problem , she just denied this being an issue.

The room was like something out of the 80s Generally a very low standard No air conditioning and the lady on reception didn’t seem to care Probably heard it all before If they spent money in their rooms rather than their external lights it could be an improvement Overall very disappointing

Clean and tidy room. Very warm with only one small window for ventilation. There was a fan provided which helped with air circulation but will be of limited use as temperatures increase over summer. A box of tissues would have been a useful addition to the supplies in the room, staff need to check that all other supplies are fully topped up, not just the bare minimum provided (eg toilet paper). Some steps have been take to avoid waste and excess plastic, the small glass milk bottles which are then reused was a good way of providing fresh milk rather than UHT.

Our stay

Comfortable unit. The right size for 2 adults, 4 children. Clean as is possible. The unit itself is tired looking. Chipped furniture, worn , hole in bench top.Large tear in lounge seat. Old style oven. Not clean. Got burnt both arms on oven door. Didnt use private spa. Uninviting area, looks unused and unclean. I wouldnt choose this motel again. The location is opposite Lake Taupo. Majority of the units have no lake views at all, just the backside of the front units. Our unit was at the back so you had no lake views whatsoever. I do prefer the lake view so book a front unit. Was it value for money...probably not. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Took a while to register. Couldnt locate booking initally...on the whole ignoring the blemishes, our stay was confortable.

We stayed in a queen studio which was quite basic and ok in terms of size as we were out for most days. The rooms are joined by a corridor at the back and at times we could hear talking in the adjacent units. Off the road though, so traffic noise is not an issue. Nice and clean.

Affacciato sul lago a qualche minuto di auto da Taupo, il motel è anche carino ma ha bisogno di una bella rimodernata e la camera di una bella pulizia approfondita. Stanza comunque spaziosa e completa di vasca da bagno termale (non particolarmente invitante) e terrazzino con tavolo e sdraio (continguo alle altre camere). Una rinfrescata lo renderebbe perfetto, ha anche area barbecue e piscina comune esterna.

Restful Lake View

Handy location for our needs. Happy to have a view of the Lake yet with the property being set well back from the road we weren't bothered by traffic noise like a lot of other Lakefront properties are. Older property and a little tired decor wise but perfectly clean and had everything we needed. A bonus was the mineral bath. Friendly lady welcomed us and came down to explain how the bath works. Plenty of outdoor furniture to sit outside the unit and enjoy the Lake View. Outdoor heated pool available and I noticed a function room like a camp kitchen with its own outdoor seating area which would be great for family bookings. Very happy with our stay and would come again.

Property was ok. We only needed a place to sleep and for that it was nothing spectacular. Was not happy to be told our room didn’t have a car park for it and we had to park out the back in the dirt, wasn’t happy with that.
