Beautiful lake front property with excellent amentities and little extra's - complimentary bike hire, mineral pool on your deck, lovely bathroom amenities and coffee!!

We checked in after hours to the property, which was easy and stress free. We were also ecstatic when we saw the room. It was very spacious, clean and the heat pump had been left on to make the room toasty warm for our arrival. Additionally they had gone the extra mile to provide a map to our room and info on how to connect to the wifi in an envelope which I really appreciated. I especially loved being greeted outside the reception late at night when we arrived by the big ginger cat who was...

Great location right on the lake

What a lovely place to stay. Views to the lake and a private hot tub. Clean, warm, home made biscuits and friendly owner. Our daughter did not want to leave. Very near to the hot water beach.

Everything was immaculate, the staff were LOVELY, we needed to arrive late, the key was left where it was easily accessible, the light was on in our room, the two pools are stunning! We are hot pool people. Absolutely stunning. We stayed on the way down to Wellington, loved it so much we stayed on the way back up to Auckland. There are a LOT of choices in Taupo and this would be our pick, everytime.

We had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back. Rooms have great space and set up. Location is fantastic!

Amazing place, cant wait to stay there again. Love that it is pet friendly and we can take our dog with us. It's in a beautiful spot right on lake Taupo, Couldnt ask for better

The room was modern, spacious, comfortable with everything we needed. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff so helpful and friendly. I will be booking Sails on the Lake every time I need to stay in Taupo.

Amazing property with great service. Has awesome heating in the room and heated floors that you can control the temp. Tv in each room. Great for everyone and huge bonus for families with kids. Definitely will look up for this property for all my stays in Taupo.

The couple who own the place are so nice and helpful. Made us feel very welcome and homely. Spa is great to end the day and facilities are clean and functional. Would definitely recommend to others and will go back myself! All at a great price as well.
