Room was beautifully clean, reception was welcoming and location an easy ten minute walk from town or the waterfront. We had a small private courtyard to the rear of the unit and the premises was well presented.

Nice modern, attractive motel and tastefully decorated. Reasonably convenient to town as well, and in spite of being fully booked it was very quiet. Reception quick, friendly and simple to check in and out. The beds were very comfortable, and plenty of cutlery, dishes etc in the kitchenette. To be picky - the toilet needed bleach to get rid of the ring at water level and the top of the velvet headboard was dusty and needed a vacuum. Otherwise no complaints and we'd happily stay again - recommended!

The host was incredibly friendly and thoughtful, which made check-in feel easy and reassuring. The room came with a small private courtyard and felt spacious and comfortable. What really stood out was the bathtub — after a long day of hiking, soaking in a hot bath was incredibly relaxing. The location is about a 10-minute walk to the town center and the lakeside, and overall the stay felt calm, comfortable, and truly relaxing.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The bed was amazing which makes a huge difference when you are travelling. The owners have given us information on the bed as we are in the market for purchasing a new one. We will stay there again when in Taupo.
