Royal Bath Hotel

Royal Bath Hotel

8/10 Good
"Just got home from a few days stay at Royal Bath Hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. I would definitely stay there again Evening meal suited me fine as I don’t like much variety of food. Breakfast was great and set me up for the day Swimming pool looked so good I didn’t use it as the weather was so hot made the most of going in the sea as the beach was so close to hotel. The grounds were fabulous to enjoy strolling around. They have live entertainment if you like that. Just so much there. Staff were very helpful and friendly Wishing I could have stayed longer Just something for you to watch out for Doors that you push that have a step down Immediately I fell and felt as though I had stepped over a cliff However there is a sign on the door"

"The hotel is located within a short walk of Bournemouth centre. There is plenty of free parking onsite. The rooms do seem dated, but they are clean and contain everything you need. Check in was quick and easy and the hotel is well priced."

"Enjoyed my stay at a hotel I have long weekended before. Queen sized rooms are always in immaculate condition, breakfast offers a broad choice of food. The steep hike up the sloping pathway to the hotel may be a challenge for some, but it also can be a good workout too! I would go back again for my next trip to Bournemouth."

"A nice hotel, very clean and Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, a little limited and food ran out fast without being refilled. The rooms were comfortable however asked twice for extra pillows and nothing turned up. Also bulbs in lamps not working. Batteries in remote for tv not working. Swimming pool and steam room was amazing. Perfect location close to everything."

"We had a wonderful stay, the whole experience exceeded expectations. However a few point for improvement to make it a true 5 star experience. Another bigger / faster lift is required or easier access to the outdoor pool area via the ramp, for my mother who is 82. The aircon in our upgraded room (326) did not cool the room to the required temp and sleeping was difficult. In addition more sun umbrellas and more comfortable sun lounger's would make the outdoor pool facilities spectacular. Apart from that it was wonderful, all the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and the breakfast and other food was great."

"No AC on third floor so in this heat it was hot throughout the stay, fans were provided but doesn’t match AC. Male receptionist was lovely and very helpful. We had an issue with maintenance in our room- but this was unresolved and not followed up on. We couldn’t wait in the room all day for someone else to show up as it was so hot. In general nice hotel in good location- 8 min walk to beach and 10 min walk to town centre for restaurants. Parking had enough spaces and the area where hotel is located is quiet. Pool is smaller than pictured and had swim lessons going on so half was occupied- but weather was so nice we went to the beach anyways."
