"We chose this hotel both as a stop off break on our way to Cornwall and a place where we could meet up with friends we had not seen for a year. We were pleasantly surprised by both the welcome and the hotel itself. Whilst Stroud itself is a bit of a mix this hotel is, in my opinion, the jewel in the crown. The refurbishment is top notch. The decor is very stylish and tasteful, up to date in every way. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice from continental to cooked. Staff could not do enough for all their customers. We would definitely return next time we are in that neck of the woods. "

"We had a lovely night at this hotel when attending one night at the 2000 Trees festival nearby. The girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We used the gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms. All were very clean. Our room was soa ious enough for 3 adults. The air con was very welcome in the 30 degree heat outside and the beds were super comfy. We would not hesitate to come back."
