"This is a beautiful place. We stayed in the newer section and had our own private patio. The room was well appointed and beyond comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner and both were nice."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Star Inn. The hospitality staff were beyond hospitable-Very attentive to us. We could have used a fan as it was warm but other than that very comfortable beds and clean rooms. The dinner menu of Greek food is very nice and of all the full English breakfasts we had on our Cotswold tour this was stood out to us and the absolute best one. There’s a lovely outdoor area for drinks or nibbles and a wonderful crowd of friendly locals. We loved it!"

"My room was great although I was a bit concerned it would be noisy as it was right next to the beer garden. I needn't have worried as, once the door was closed, I couldn't hear a thing! Big, comfortable bed with crisp, clean bedding. Nice bathroom with good accessibility. And even my own 'terrace' outside the room, separate from the beer garden. Great if you don't want to interact with others. Lovely atmosphere in the pub, pleasant and helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked to order, very good quality and choices. I enjoyed my stay and am booked again next weekend. I can thoroughly recommend it."

"Unfortunately the hot weather spoilt this stay. The room 304 was like Satans Inferno - so hot - the provided fan only moved hot air around - air con would have been so much better. Nearly went down to sleep in reception which is air conditioned. "

"This place has totally turned around since we last visited. This time we stayed overnight and had a fantastic evening meal. The rooms were cosy and clean. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was standout but most of all the staff were fantastic. Friendly, professional and a world away from the sloppy service of a few years ago. Would totally recommend."
