"Such a sweet place. The condonis immaculately clean and the beach is gorgeous. Skip the tours, rent or bring your own snorkles for almost guaranteed turtles. The Make a Surf Club does it right, and this host has it going on!"
"Our family of four had a great week at Makena Surf! The condo is well equipped and a great location on the property. The unit is right by the pool (but not loud) and a short walk to the beach. The unit has an amazing view of the ocean on the balcony where we enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon drinks. If we find ourselves back in South Maui, we will for sure return to this unit! Thank you for a lovely visit! "
"We found a gold nugget in the Makena Surf! Check is was so easy. Someone from Ali’i Resorts met us at the condo to show us around. Next time we will order groceries to save on time. The condo is beautiful and very comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you could need. The property is located on the beach so it is easy to walk down to the beach with all of your gear. And the snorkeling right off the beach is second to none. It is literally around the corner from Turtle Town. We will be staying at Makena Surf for all of our Maui visits from now on! "

The “touristy” area is just a 5 min drive away (you do need a car to get to any restaurants or shops). "

"Coldwell banker was fantastic to communicate with, Makena Surf property grounds and amenities are wonderful, location on two beautiful beaches can't be beat and the view from the kitchen/main living area/patio of this condo is fantastic. Condo could use some refreshing but didn't detract much from our stay on beautiful Maui. "
"Hi, thanks for letting us stay at your place. A couple comments on the unit:
I believe you have a septic issue, or the building does. When the doors are closed up and you leave the unit for a few hours, it smells of sewage when you return. We put nothing down the disposal, so that is not was not the issue. We have never stayed in that building before, but it is evident in your unit.
You should think about moving to DirectTV Uverse instead of Spectrum. The boxes had to be rebooted multiple times in all rooms, and the controllers don't control the TV very well. Direct TV is a superior product and will control the TV with their controller. There is one fee that would support all the TVs and no limit on broadcasting like Spectrum does.There is no Adult options, and there is a parental control so that is covered also.
Otherwise, the unit was very nice and in a great location. We have stayed at Makena Surf about 10 times and I think your unit is one of the best."
"Just returned from a week long stay in this unit. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The location cannot be beat. The unit itself was very clean and had beautiful ocean views. I would definitely stay here again. The only minor annoyance was there are so many units that are under construction that the parking lot is full or workers and their trucks during the day. It can be difficult to find a spot close. The management company should make these trucks park in the further lots rather than force guests to park there.
