"Staff very friendly and helpful, and bar and restaurant area pleasant, cozy and welcoming.
The rooms are pretty basic and could do with some minor maintenance, but are clean and tidy, and good value for money.
A good choice of breakfast items, and we had two evening meals which were great. Our waiter Sam was especially friendly and helpful.
There is plenty of free parking"

The Appleby Inn was ideal accommodation for us, as we had a quiet ground floor room with parking outside our room. During our 3 night stay our breakfast and evening meals at the hotel were enjoyed. We would happily return to utilise this hotel on any future visit to the area.

Beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed, beautiful linen, clean and well-appointed. Stag's head above bed a real winner! We arrived late in the day but we were given a top-notch meal and fabulous service.

I stayed there for 5 nights and loved it, we had the deluxe room which had more space for our luggage. Lovely area and just a very small village, you have to have a car to stay here. Not far from Nuneaton and also a lot of other lovely small towns nearby as well. Breakfasts were great and the evening meals were also good at reasonable prices. Twycross Zoo and Burton Upon Trent are also good placeces to visit.
