Sintra Postal Apartment - Central Location - UNESCO World Cultural Landscape
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"“Wow!” What can we say, we had a wonderful experience in this quaint apartment right in the middle of the Old Historic Unesco Centre. We were met by Miguel on arrival and he assisted us getting to the apartment as no vehicles are allowed in the Historic Centre. Miguel spent a fair amount of time explaining the ins and outs of the apartment and reviewed the many things to see and do in Sintra and surrounding area. We were provided a bottle of lovely Portuguese red wine and scrumptious cookies to...

"Beautiful hotel in the center of Sintra. Close to a public parking lot and walkable to several attractions. The inn was beautiful inside, with extensive outdoor gardens, and the welcome port was appreciated! There was also an honor bar in the public lounge, where we relaxed with other travelers. "This little hotel was beautiful - scenery from our room on the second floor was beautiful, room clean with nice furnishings, and the staff were super helpful. We arrived a little early for check in and when we came back they had taken our cases to our rooms already! Also very helpful in sorting us taxis for a wedding, and any questions we had they were happy to help. Loved this place, will recommend to anyone I know staying in Sintra. It’s also just a few minutes walk from the train station so...

Casa Miradouro
3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (165)
"There is little or nothing to say about the stay, since we didnt get to stay. It was a busted couple of days. It is largely my fault for not doing my homework. First I should of asked was there parking available near or on the porperty. As it turns out it was no. This particular time the town was full and the parking is on a public road two streets over on a one way drive. The thing to do to visit Sintra is to book a hotel in Lisbon and take the train or bus to the town. "

"Lena was an amazing hostess. Breakfast was really great (and GF!). Our room (#4) was huge and the patio was great. Facilities are a bit old but the amenities (kitchen access, patio, living room, free wifi, self service bar) we're all fantastic. Noise from a nearby road can be loud but it wasn't a huge bother for us."
