It was an easy walk from the station. I was able to arrive early and leave my bag in the room while they were cleaning, then return in the afternoon and let myself in. The basement room was a whole apartment, there were small windows so it did not feel like a basement. Breakfast was delicious.

This is such a great property. It is beautifully restored, convenient to the old town while still being quiet. The rooms were beautiful and the water pressure in the showers was great!

Unique and interesting property. We stayed 2 days and received a complimentary upgrade to a large suite. Weather was rainy and cold, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor sitting area, but it looked lovely. Breakfast very good and our hostess congenial. Only criticism is that tables and chairs were very small and cramped for eating.

Perfect Place!

The location is perfect for experiencing Sintra. Check-in and check-out was very easy. The room was immaculate and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and had the best orange juice I've ever had. I will reserve a room here every time I visit Sintra. I really can't say enough positive things about this guest house.

A great last minute find! Karen was such a lovely host. She was very informative and advised me of a better plan to make the most of my 24hours in Sintra. The room was lovely and full of character, and breakfast was a great start to the day. The guest house is close to the centre of Sintra Old Town and is a great location to get around. Would definitely recommend.
