This hotel was a dream. It’s was quiet and comfy. Bed was great. Breakfast was wonderful. When I checked out in the middle of the night for an early flight the person at the desk handed me a sack lunch/breakfast! I almost cried! Truly the best!

The boutique hotel is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and features modern infrastructure. It is very comfortable, elegant, and in a great location. The receptionist, Beatriz, was exceptionally polite. She showed me all the common areas and shared the hotel’s history in a very engaging way. I only spent one night here, but I’m already considering returning for another stay so I can visit more of the nearby castles. By the way, breakfast was excellent and the views were amazing.

An absolute gem in Sintra. A beautiful hotel, our room was stunning with an enormous bathroom. The bed was divine and the room was quiet and spotless. There is parking available (see photo). Staff were very friendly and welcoming and are incredibly hospitable and proud of the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and it is in a convenient location. I loved this hotel.

The room was okay. The good things were that there was a large bathroom. Things that could be improved are larger nightstands, and better linens for the bed. There was a smell of cigarettes in the room but was able to ventilate by opening the doors.

This hotel is a piece of history. Only 8 minutes up the road to the Quinta da Regaleira. The hotel is lovely, the views are great. The breakfast was small but sufficient. The restaurant is good. The staff is very helpful and the massage was great. I would recommend calling and booking a massage in advance so you can get your preferred time. everything is aboout a 12-17 minute walk except the mountain top Pena Palace for example - uber or tuktuk to that. Parking is very limited if you are coming with a rental, call in advance for information regarding the paid parking garage. Once you pass the hotel it takes 15-18 minutes to go around and get back with all the one way roads. The road to the hotel is closed to general traffic so be prepared to tell the traffic controller in portuguese that you have a reservation at the hotel.

Small, boutique hotel that had numerous cosy seating areas and lounges. We were upgraded to a suite and had a separate lounge. Just beautiful in every way. Black out shutters, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Host was super friendly and helpful. Restaurant food out rounding and much better than local village. Couldn’t get a more perfect location. Walk down the hill 5 minutes to the village of Sintra and up the hill 5 mins to the Iniation Well and Palace. Cannot fault this place.

Loved the history of the hotel, the history is maintained yet was still modern. The bar area was really enjoyable after a long drive to get there. 3 hotel parking spaces available, we got lucky and got one. Would stay there again.

What a beautiful little place. I had read about how difficult parking is in Sintra. We pulled up in front of the hotel where there were four spots sanctioned off. We were told it's OK to park there over night. The hotel was quaint, clean and the staff was beyond hospitable. This hotel is centrally located and you couldn't ask for a better place to stay.
