"Top notch property that was very comfortable for our family of four. Traditionally beautiful with all of the modern amenities included. The staff was very helpful and attentive and breakfast was on time both mornings (ordered separately). We would not hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended. "

"you can pick up the bus out of the hoten and easy access to metro
Great services, you get free shot of sake daily and unlimited matcha and coffee, loved the size of the room, was good according Japan Standards."
"The Cross Hotel was a tranquil oasis in the lovely city of Kyoto. Close to the River, it’s associated eateries and equally close to the shops and business of the main city it was the perfect location for us. Walkable to two major train/subway links, it made getting to various sites of interest easy. It was also with a quick wander to Nikishi market-with lots of tasty treats to try.
The hotel itself was well kept and smelt like a spa! The check in and out were easy and seamless with machines to use in a variety of languages. The staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean and the whole hotel was quiet and calm. The lobby had free coffee and a cafe. The room we stayed in had 3 beds and a wet room. It was well appointed with all amenities needed. "
"Extraordinarily courteous and diligent staff made the experience flawless. The facilities themselves were superb, and the on-property restaurant (which I understand makes its own cheese) was surprisingly good. It’s centrally located, so you’re never too far from anything. It’s a wonderful hotel, and would absolutely recommend it for whenever anyone visits Kyoto."
"Legendary. Hotel exceeded expectations in every way. Incredible level of detail in the building and interior design, conceptually well thought out with its connections to the city. Comfortable rooms and all the amenities we could want- our highlights were the onsite Stumptown and three restaurants with food options for our picky kids. The Kosa restaurant is especially gorgeous, day and night.
English speaking staff were on top of everything, efficient and professional. Easy direct access from the subway station and convenient centralized launchpad to the tourist spots. Cool wood keycards, a glamping vibe, and they have bikes to use!"
