"The room we stayed in wasn’t clean and the conditions weren’t great. The hotel staff also overcharged us for a few excursions. I’d recommend staying somewhere else if possible."

"We stayed just one night here but wish it was longer. Beautifully decorated room, with a wonderfully comfortable bed looking directly out onto the river Nile. We enjoyed sitting out and enjoying the view across the river and watched the sun rise the following morning. The staff could not have been more helpful and did everything they could to help us. The food was wonderful - we had tagine and it was up there with the best we’ve eaten. We really could not fault Dolty Kato Nubian House and would highly recommend it."

Staff couldn’t have been more polite or helpful and the taxis ordered for us were well-priced and considerate. Food was good, and alcoholic drinks plentiful. We had such a good few days here. "This was the cleanest & friendliest hotel we had in two week in Egypt. Some of the bigger hotels in the bigger cities should take note of the exceptional cleaning standards here. All of the staff were very lovely and helpful - excellent Engligh. Organising a car to the airport was a breeze. And we had a delicious meal in the restaurant onsite. Not many people would consider a night on the Westbank in Aswan - but I would highly recommend it. "

"AC in rooms was efficient, so was the hot water and bathroom. Room cleanliness was adequate. Bathroom amenities may be improved with a few more hooks. Breakfast could be enhanced with local lava beans and bread or mollusks and local cheeses. The cold cut in breakfast menu is a waste. Otherwise omelettes were tasty"

"Felt very private and the property has fantastic views of Aswan from up top. That said, it also means it's a bit less convenient to get into town especially by foot. The property is also connected to the main Basma hotel slightly down hill which is bigger and busier, so that's both a private and a potential issue for some. But because the Exec Club is more private, service was more attentive and privacy away from heavy traffic was better."
