"This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August."

The staff on reception were excellent and special mention to Scarlet, Chloe and Josh for their help and kindness. Scarlet was particularly helpful in sorting out an alternative room for me as I wasn’t keen having a room with an adjoining door to the next room (even though it was locked!) Also special thanks to Jack (who managed the spa) and was very keen to try and sort out an issue with the steam room. He was very apologetic about this particular facility having constant issues. All in all an enjoyable stay."
