"Dirty floors, carpets laced with dog hair, heaters didn’t work properly. Tv remotes didn’t work in either room. Curtains falling off, holes in walls, large gap in the roof that I had to close myself with an ironing board. No WiFi, mentioned to staff - they didn’t really care. Room cards failed on 4 separate occasions. The whole place is clearly falling apart - the room was awful and the staff working seemed unhappy and unwelcoming in general. Would not stay here again and would advise others to avoid - the room was not cheap and did not represent good value in any way. We literally had to stuff loo roll into one hole in the wall as there was an outside draft coming through!"

"The rooms are very tired even the info in the room are dated telling you if you want to call reception dail 0 there are no phobes innthe room wifi is very poor the choice of meals in the bar/restaurant is very limited it was also cold "

"Room was clean and tidy, however the floorboards were extremely squeaky, unable to walk anywhere in the room without it squeaking, it was obviously the same for the room above! The restaurant service was very slow for the evening, and the meal itself quite a disappointment, the pie crust hard to cut and the 'steak' filling bland, the mash and peas just luke warm. Breakfast was a slight improvement but not the best. Parking was good in the private car park, provided the cars were actually parked inside the marked bays, although the white lines do need repainting. "
