"Absolutely stunning hotel and views everywhere! Loved it"

"A short lancha ride from Pana to Tzununa and you feel “off the beaten path”. Just about 1/4 mi Tuk-Tuk ride up the dirt road and you see a white, modern structure that occupies both sides of the street. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. The views of the lake and volcanos are commanding. They spared no expense. Quality throughout. The patio made for a great meditation space (the unit had 2 yoga mats). The Starlink internet speed was blazing and without dead zones (perfect for digital nomads). The restaurant is stunning with a fantastic menu and Chef is world-class. Marcela (the owner) and Sebastian are super nice and helpful, assuring you have everything you need. You can also ask about the fungi academy that is walking distance to see the most interesting species of mushrooms. We will be back. It is the perfect getaway from the stressful world. Came back home maximally relaxed after staying at Aviva! "

"We were quite pleased to have found this eco hotel. It is basic but comfortable, quiet (except for the birds!) and clean. You can tell there is pride in the property. The staff are lovely and helpful (in Spanish mostly). If you ask, they will call a ferry for you to the private dock. The Mayan sauna and jacuzzi are a neat touch but you have to make a reservation and pay more to access. Kayaks are free to use (but go in the morning before the wind picks up). There is no hot water and beware the many stairs to get to your room. Breakfast was included and yummy."

"GREAT LOCATION. Right on the lake. We had amazing view of volcanoes and lake from the room. The property was clean."

"Great hotel very clean room. No air conditioning but at night you honestly don’t need it. It cools down to a comfortable temperature and tons of windows. The bathroom is outside and found several spiders and a scorpion in my room otherwise no complaints. Very close to the San Marcos dock. Tons of restaurants within walking distance 10 out of 10 would recommend"

"I had a good stay overall, but there was one serious issue. Around 2 a.m., someone opened my door and tried to enter my room. I reported this to the receptionist, but was told there are no CCTV cameras in the common areas. For the safety of guests, I strongly recommend installing security cameras."

"Honestly I don’t leave reviews very often for places. But this was just such a good experience overall I needed to. We did not eat one bad meal while staying. The ladies that cooked for on property were amazing! If I had any concerns I was able to get quick responses from the owner. House was just beautiful overall. "
