"The property is located in a remote area away from the town and the public dock. I feel safe being on the property. The property features a beautiful garden, pool, and jacuzzi with stunning views. The property offers relaxing massages for a fee and has a good restaurant and a bar. However, it costs money to shuttle out every day and when we asked the boat to drop off at the hotel dock, they charged us $22/ docking. "

"I loved everything about this hotel. The views were stunning. The bathroom was so beautiful. My bed was so comfortable. I usually travel to explore but I booked this hotel specifically to relax and enjoy the hotel itself. Food and drinks were good as well. You can hear everything from the nearby rooms and the dogs will wake you up at 5:30am, but just in time for sunrise. The area itself is full of backpackers and hippies, not my scene but I stayed in the hotel. A 3 min walk is a park where you can jump off into the lake. I stayed on a rainy Sunday night so I didnt experience the loud music from neighboring spots. No ac but the fan was perfect. Definitely will stay here again."

"Really enjoyed my one night at this beautiful little lake "cabin". Paula, the manager, was especially helpful with everything and communicated promptly with me when I had any questions, even outside normal business hours. Thank you Paula! It is accessed via a private dock and is tricky to access after normal lancha run-times from San Marcos, so plan accordingly and buy your supplies beforehand. But the excellent view makes it more than worth it, and the morning sunrise was the highlight of my stay there. Would love to stay here again for longer."
