"Amazing spot, true Italian feel to the hotel. Close to everything. Can see duomo right outside our bedroom window. Everything was clean and staff were amazing!! "

"No working remote for TV., emailed 3 times no one showed up. Shower drain clogged, was over flowing shower pan. Contacted 3 times no one showed up. FYI on how many stairs to room would have been nice. Very noisy street, hospital down street, lots of screaming Building does have charm"

"We stayed in the Brunelleschi suite - what a perfect location right at the square. Bed was very comfortable, had a small refrigerator, and the B&B provided still or sparkling water at your leisure to fill using the provided glass decanter. Our host was so kind and made us feel very welcome! The B&B gives you a voucher each day, left in your room, for breakfast the following am. You choose between 2 different cafes, one right below, and the other two shops down- included was1 coffee , 1 juice, 1 pastry, AND 1 sandwich for the AM breakfast each day. Both cafes were excellent! There was live musicians each evening right in the square, so not super quiet until about 11pm, but we didn't find any of it a bother at all- we would stand on the balcony and watch with a glass of wine! It really was lovely. Highly recommend!"

"The laundry service was a gift! We found enough in the kitchen to make it work for us. The surprise was a king size bed as we were under the mistaken impression that it was a standard full size bed. It was amazingly quiet for the neighborhood so we slept well. It looks just like the pictures online!"

"The staff is rude and doesn’t greet people at the desk. Don’t book this hotel if your flight lands in the evening as they will charge you hidden fees and when the reception closes. You have to pay in cash for the late fees, 20 euros per hour and they don’t accept card for that. Looks like some undeclared business to pay someone to wait for guests at reception. Avoid this place!"

"The hotel made you feel like you were experiencing authentic Italy. The giant front doors were amazing. We had 4 keys to unlock the 3 doors and elevator to get into our room, so safety did not seem to be a concern. The room was a bit dusty, but the bathroom was clean. There were no screens on the windows so when you opened the wood shutters it was open air to the courtyard. We reserved breakfasts for our mornings, but unfortunately we were up and out before the dining room opened at 8:30 am/9:00 am, so we were only able to eat one time at the hotel. The location was excellent on a wonderful street with a great coffee shop (opens early), gelato store, restaurants, bars and shopping all on our street. We walked all over Florence from our hotel and never felt like any place was too far. It was a wonderful stay! "
