Art Hotel Villa Agape

"The hotel its grounds are really beautiful. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is quite a ways outside the historic center of Florence. They offer a shuttle service that operates from 9:00-1:00 and then again in the late afternoon until 8:00. We found it hard to make this schedule work with our plans. For example it is customary to have dinner at 7:00pm or later at the restaurants in the city so very hard to get the shuttle home. Taxis are expensive but we ended up taking quite a few so you may want to factor this in when making your plans. Still it’s a relaxing and quiet place to be away from the noise and hustle of the downtown."

"The Social Hub is a great hotel—modern, stylish, minimalist, and incredibly convenient. It’s especially well suited to the independent traveler who appreciates a contemporary, self-service approach. For me personally, being in Florence, I would have preferred a slightly more traditional and full-service hotel experience. The self check-in process and technology-driven approach are modern and very well executed, but they weren’t necessarily a highlight of my vacation. That is entirely a matter of personal preference rather than a criticism of the hotel itself. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, and the hotel itself has a really dynamic atmosphere. The rooftop was definitely a standout, with the pool, terrace, various bars, and food-truck-style counters creating a fantastic space to relax, have a drink, and enjoy the surroundings. Overall, it’s a very cool, modern concept and a great choice for travelers looking for independence, convenience, and a lively social atmosphere in Florence."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was impeccable. Beautiful! The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Our dinner was wonderful. The location was an easy walk 15-20 minutes to about everything."

"Everything was great, staff were helpful. A couple comments I do have are: One of the staff let themselves into our room in the morning while I was still sleeping then saw me and said “sorry” and turned around and walked out. Weird. Also the room had a lot of thick cob webs and didn’t seem that they dust the room. Other than that, it was a very nice room and clean comfortable beds. Handicap accessible room needs some type of shower curtain to contain the water or the whole bathroom becomes a shower and it doesn’t dry which can be very slippery and everything is wet in there. The rest of the hotel was very nice and updated."
