"Clean room , Staff very friendly and attentive . Great place to feel welcomed in Venice"

"Take the water bus to S.Toma and then go straight down the path first left and then right and you will find the hotel sitting at the side of the canal. The sign isn’t too obvious but once inside the entrance is beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We were in room 111 which is on the first floor and through an imposing room with mirrors and a fantastic table with fancy chairs. The outlook from the room is a brick wall but the room is very impressive with a chandelier over the bed(stunning) only complaint would be that the room was quite hot (we went in April) but opening the window helped to cool it down. Breakfast was freshly made daily with lots to choose from like toast, bacon, eggs, croissants, ham, cheese, yoghurts and fruit. Something for everyone to enjoy and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall a wonderful stay and will definitely be going back. Thank you! "

"Breakfast was good. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Location was excellent but room was noisy due to restaurants and people around. Most importantly, the whole hotel requires renovation -1) old and dirty carpet, 2)stale air and poor ventilation, 3) room aircon was not functional, 4)bathroom plumbing is poor (does not flush properly even though it flushes), 5) the hotel room was above restaurents so I get abundant free cooked fish aroma every night. The deal breaker was the aircon. The room was stuffy because the air vent was blowing humid stale air. I tried opening the room window and found mosquitoes in the room in addition to the restaurent food smell.I complained to the staff about the aircon and was told they would send someone to look at it but that did not happen and neither was it fixed. Toilet seat was not aligned with toilet bowl and bathroom fllor tile was cracked and not fixed."

"Staff were all fabulous the only thing that let this place down was the worn out decor,we stayed there a few times in the past 7 years but this time it was really noticeable peeling faded wall paper very worn chipped furniture, bath that you had to stand in the toilet to get in !!!! Bath didn’t work no plugs in sink or bath . Bedding changed every day and housekeeping was very good "

"The room was two double beds for a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. It was massive and worked really well for what we needed for a city break. The breakfast was minimal, but had all the usual continental offering with some hot elements too. The hotel had a great bar area, the whole place was really clean and the staff were very efficient. The best element for us visiting Venice was that it was right across the road from the train station which had multiple options for getting into the centre of Venice. A fantastic option for a trip around north east Italy."

"The hotel is extremely beautiful and completely spotless. The breakfast was superb with so much choice. Shuttles were on time and with plenty room. The hotel is let down by some of the staff who are not super friendly and we didn’t always feel welcomed. The aircon in our room was also broken. We ordered two coffees to our room and had to pay 24 euros for the pleasure. The pool is only open in summer months. "

"This place is absolutely gorgeous from the moment you walk in. Conveniently located by the train station, but just enough on a side street that it’s totally quiet. 20 minute-ish walk to the heart of Venice. Water buses within three minutes of the hotel front door. Location cannot be beat. Super friendly staff that made a fantastic room accommodation for me since I had a split reservation. I very much appreciate that. Make sure you book the breakfast because it’s well above average. And having the ability to eat the breakfast in there, lovely courtyard was a bonus. Loads of restaurant options and a delicious gelato shop in the immediate area. And of course you’re walking to the heart of Venice is just restaurant after a restaurant after a restaurant after a restaurant. A+ 10/10. "
