"This was a great stay in Florence. The location is excellent for both Santa Maria Novella and the center of the city. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and it was very spacious and you could tell lots of care was taken to make the space clean and amenable. Thanks for a great stay! "

"Nous avions envoyé un mail pour annoncer notre arrivée et n’avons pas eu de réponse. Sur place, l’hôte est arrivé peu après nous. L’ascenseur est assez « creepy ». L’hôte nous est apparu antipathique. Il nous a donné pas mal d’informations parfois contradictoires. La chambre est correcte mais le ménage n’est pas fait notamment sous le lit. "The location can’t be beat. This is an Airbnb type property and the office isn’t staffed - I missed the message sent from them in advance of check in so we had to wait for someone to come over to check us in (about 20 mins) The building is old and a bit dirty but the room was cool - high ceilings, overlooking the street, great old marble floors etc. The breakfast is included at a little coffee shop a couple doors down and was adequate. "

"Everything about this place was good except for the internet. To get a stable connection, you had to sit in the kitchen or go outside your room, which was a bit inconvenient. One thing to note: hotels in Italy typically do not provide hair conditioner. They usually only offer two small bottles of shampoo and two very small bars of soap, so be sure to bring your own hair products. "

"- I had a great stay at this hostel. - It is just a 15-minute walk from Florence Santa Maria Novella train station—I had a backpack and a carry-on suitcase, and the walk was very manageable. - Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff were friendly and helpful. - The 6-bed room was clean and spacious enough to comfortably fit three bunk beds. Remember to bring your own padlock, 30 mm. - Shared bathroom was roomy, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. - Central air conditioning worked well, which made a big difference during the summer heat. - Since I stayed during the summer, there were quite a few school groups and teenagers around, which made it a bit noisy at times—but it was totally understandable given the season and atmosphere. - Breakfast was available for a fee and offered a variety of fresh and satisfying options each morning. - Laundry facilities were very convenient, especially for a longer stay—just make sure to read the instructions carefully before using the machines. - Storage facility was another big plus: it felt very secure, with each piece of luggage tagged with a numbered ticket. Staff are always present to ensure belongings are only picked up by the rightful owner. Just make sure not to lose your ticket."
