"The Califia Inn is a wonderful, family-owned property in San Clemente! Clean & spacious rooms that are well-appointed (nice shower, good water pressure, comfortable bed). Has modern convenience with the mid-century beachy charm. My room was quiet and found it very relaxing! There is a shared kitchen area for coffee, sink, dishes & microwave access. Nice little courtyard sitting area in front of hotel. The owners are great! Quick to answer any questions and offer local advice. My stay was 4 days & I could have easily stayed longer, very comfortable for a solo traveler! I look forward to staying again on my next trip. Great location- not far from freeway, minutes to the beach, pier, train station. Short drive to downtown San Clemente. Also near trolley stop for access to many local businesses, beach/pier. Quick walk to a few local restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and good tacos!"
