The Ocean West Boutique Hotel has been opened a year this April. A lovely small property approx 15mins drive from the shopping strip of Nassau. If you want a quiet location this is the spot. The pool is gorgeous. They also have condos for rent on the property as well. I feel their pricing for breakfast is expensive, though very good food. They have a car that can take you wherever you want to go, which is very convenient. All taxis plus the hotel transport is expensive in Nassau. When booking...

Clean room with friendly staff. Beach area was lovely but hotel was a bit busy so hard to find seats on the beach and by the pool. Food was very expensive so we ate out every night.

Staff were professional, house keeping was great, beautiful place. Minor things: Shower had very weak pressure and would take a long time to become hot. Hold for the hotel was charged to my card even though they said it wouldn't be, still waiting on it to be returned which can take up to 14 days.

Quiet secluded location. Beautiful setting. Pool area wonderful. The room was clean and spacious.
We ate at the Asian restaurant onsite which was excellent (albeit expensive $US$350 for two).
The staff were helpful and courteous.
Two small suggested improvements.
No tea/coffe facilites in the room.
We took the buffet breakfast at US$20 only to find at the end that this did not include tea or coffee or juice.
The hotel is expensive. The restaurant is expensive. Despite enjoying our stay...
