Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Food was good.

Staff was immediately rude upon arrival. The first thing they tell you is all the charges you incur if you lose your towel card or bracelet. It’s $250 per bracelet. They do not give you any guidance on where things are or how to do anything besides the WiFi. They tell you to use the app, but it’s awful and you can’t order anything in it. We were not able to get reservations to any of the restaurants in the app. We ate at the buffet for breakfast and dinner every night. The food was okay but the service was AWFUL with the exception of a few nice staff. We felt like they hated us the whole time. One morning we were not even given water while tables around us got mimosas, milk, OJ, etc. Even when we tipped, we were ignored. The bar staff was somehow worse. They completely ignored you unless you yelled for them. They didn’t acknowledge tips or thank yous. Next came the rooms. The toilets backed up and nobody came to fix it for 6 hours. The rooms did not have locks on the doors that you could lock. My daughter cut her hand on an outdoor shower. The phone in my room didn’t work. THERE WERE COCKROACHES in our room! They were crawling all over our clothes. We mentioned it to another guest and they said they had to move rooms because of bedbugs. I would not recommend this resort to anyone, it was awful and felt unsafe with the inability to lock my room door and the hostility of the staff. Terrible experience!
