"The hunting lodge is a perfect venue our large family gathering - ten adults, two children and two under 18 months. The views are amazing and the peace is breathtaking. Everyone said the beds were too soft for them but that is personal preference. Plenty of grass for children to run around and of outdoor games. Loved the big table for all of us to eat together though the kitchen is small for the size of the property (a second kitchen is at the other end of the house). We paid extra for the wood fired hot tub and it was disappointing that it isn’t warm enough to use on the first evening. If you were there on a 2 night break, it would be hard to justify the cost against the useage."

"There was an immediate welcoming feel walking into this property. Maura was an excellent host and answered even silly questions promptly! The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a doggy bowl and a high chair if these were needed. Loved the fun sayings, and things like which bin was for recycling were clearly marked. Comfortable seating for 6 in the lounge and three comfortable double beds upstairs. Bathroom had some room to move and a heated towel rail. Parking spot right outside was grest.
