"What a beautiful place to stay, old school service, fabulous gardens. Huge gorgeous room, lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in. Some feedback not a complaint - spa needs a jacuzzi esp outside to take in the views and changing rooms need to be regularly cleaned of excess water"

"I stayed in this clean & comfortable cottage for a month and absolutely loved it. It had everything I wanted/ needed for a wonderful time,& the whole place was thoughtfully laid out. The bedroom had a king sized bed in a nice sized bedroom with a built in wardrobe, good bedside lighting, there was a great kitchen & bathroom both well supplied with thoughtful touches, great counter space, and storage. There was starter coffee,tea creamer, etc when I arrived, the owners even brought me fresh eggs from their chickens 1 week! They were the perfect mix of friendly while allowing me as much privacy as I wanted. The shared Yard; with a gazebo,the river flowing along the back of the property, chaise lawn chairs, a few respectful chickens and 2 of the sweetest dogs ever(only out on leash unless I requested they stay out with me) it was heaven. They had area brochures out 4 me, answered all my questions and even told me about some things in the area to see that I might have overlooked (IE the only pub with a National Trust Plaque), a forest a 3 minute walk away to explore, and lots of area walk brochures, which I took full advantage of. I even made a few friends & we did some great long walks. So a fabulous place, and the village & area was so lovely, The Cotswold's were a close drive and there were many other spots close by to see.(u do want a car) I will be back again the next time I come to the UK!"

"This is a very nice place. Very pleased to have stayed here. The pub was super. It has a motor sports theme, right up our alley. Good clean rooms, good hot water, clean bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a very comfortable stay - the house was clean, bedrooms comfortable, kitchen well equipped and Maura thoughtfully provided cereal, milk and doggie treats - thank you! Good Wi-Fi access and well-located for easy access to town centre and Stratford. "

"Great check in, friendly and informative. Food is delicious, I made the mistake of ordering a starter as the main meals are large portions and great value for money. My advice would be to order a main and if you are still hungry go for a desert but I doubt you will need it. Would highly recommend"
