From our arrival to our departure we were made to feel very welcome, we had a lovely night's stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and greeted us warmly. The food was exceptional, we had an evening meal and breakfast with timely service and attention to detail. We thought the whole experience of our stay was great and nothing was too much trouble. There was a Farmers Market on in the grounds when we were leaving which seemed to be going well and I'd imagine would bring in more customers. A great idea. Our bedroom was big with a big bathroom too, nice shower too. Lots of space, we had a comfortable night's sleep and even being over the pub and next to the road we didn't notice any noise in the later part of the night. We'd definitely recommend this lovely Pub with Rooms to anyone to stay. So glad we booked The Bell and thanks again to the manager and staff.

Breakfast was good. Room not great for a deluxe room, no window at all only a velux. Evening meal not and we were made to feel very unwelcome and told us they couldn't serve any more "walk ins" today. Explained we were staying there and that the person who checked us in sam we could come down for dinner up to 9pm (which it does say in the room brochure too) and it was only 7.30pm! Very reluctantly served us even though kitchen open until 8. The girl that served us was lovely, couldn't say the same for her colleagues. Won't be going again even though been going there for over 30 years.

Bell - Alderminster - Stunning

Lovely pub & upmarket rooms

Food, rooms and ambience all excellent. Very dog friendly - heaven for dog owners and lovers Justifiably busy but there was always somewhere to sit and relax with a drink. Staff friendly.

We had an overnight stay for my birthday, what a beautiful place. Our room was gorgeous, couldn’t fault it. Breakfast was perfect, staff really friendly. Already booked to come back! Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Lovely place

Lovely place gorgeous rooms. Delicious food & very friendly helpful staff. We didn’t mind but other than the pub there is nothing in the little village but easy to get to places from there. Just depends on what you are wanting from a mini break.

Great little getaway

Great stay at the Bell , room was ready before check in time. The pub it self is lovely and has lots of character to it! The rooms little small but cosy and up to a good standard ,the room was clean and was tidy everything we went to breakfast which a good touch. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh , the service was really good. Location only 10 mins away from Stratford centre.

Excellent stopover hotel

Not our first time and it won’t be our last . Everything very good , only real issue is the road noise from the front rooms. It was very warm and the windows needed to be open , everything else really good

Super stay

Everything was excellent. We stayed one night & didn’t get the breakfast included. Had dinner which I can thoroughly recommend. The breakfast we decide to get too was great. Setting lovely, wasn’t able to eat outside but wish we could have. If we are in the area again we will definitely book. Room super, only prob we had heating on high but sorted that.

August 2022 Short Stay

Really comfortable hotel barely a stones throw from Stratford town centre with convenient free parking. Good food choice menu and well stocked drinks bar serving until 11am. We found the hotel and rooms to be clean and tidy. Especially pleasing is the outdoor casual seating arrangements which were both well laid out and spacious, ideal when taking an early morning coffee after breakfast or a late evening drink before retiring to your room. We stayed in a ground floor room, however the first floor superior rooms seemed to be the better choice.

Fabulous place, fabulous staff

We loved our stay at The Bell. We stayed at a hotel far more expensive elsewhere and The Bell stood head and shoulders above that hotel. The room was big, well appointed and very clean. Toiletries by L’Occtaine provided. Proper sized thick fluffy towels, quality bedding. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was fab. Large breakfast offering, freshly cooked as well as continental. Plentiful freshly ground coffee, tea and fruit juices and lots of toast and preserves. I had eggs royale and my husband eggs Benedict. Breakfast was very tasty, my only complain - egg yolks weren’t runny but that was a small price to pay for an excellent stay. We will be rebooking in again for a long weekend soon.
