"I stayed at the Cordis with a group of friends, as we were all attending Synthony in the Domain. This was my first stay at the Cordis and it will now be my go-to for all trips to Auckland. I loved everything about this hotel. The spacious rooms, the divinely comfortable “Dream Beds,” the gym facilities, the pool and hot tub, the convenience of being able to order an amazing room service meal at midnight with so many great options on the menu. The service was impeccable from every staff member I encountered. A special shout out to Brent (Head of Valet) for going above and beyond - ensuring we were all looked after in a timely manner with prompt access to our vehicles as needed - whilst managing his team and running a silky smooth flawless operation. His attention to detail is impressive, and he dresses like he means it. Great sense of personal style, and witty banter. I loved my weekend at the Cordis and didn’t want it to end. Will be back again soon. "

"Its the worst place i have ever stayed in. Payed for 4 nights left after 1 night. Would like a refund. Its so dirty and smells terrible.l have a lung condition ans could not breathe. Previous peoples rubbish still there plus no clean towels or kitchen cloths. Bedside lamp had no shade and a broken off prong on the plug. Kitchen chairs where fillfy dirty as where the bed covers. Cupboards musty. Toilet paper in the carpark and up the tree. No other roomso offered to clean . Noway could a clean get that smell out. No one at reception, have to ring a number to get the safe number to get your key. Just as well i had a friend with a phone. I left mine back in Australia.i could go on but i think you should have the idea."

"The hotel is basic but very clean, bathroom was nice and modern. Staff were super helpful and made up our rooms daily if required. The breakfast was great. Parking super easy. Can’t fault them on anything, we found it great value for money!"

"The positives: The staff are so nice. The location is beautiful, the views are incredible. However, the rooms need a big update. There is an odor that permeates the room. When the doors are open, it’s not bad but at night on the first floor you cannot leave the doors open cause someone could just walk into your room from the outside while you’re sleeping. Therefore, the rooms probably should be painted the furniture updated, and a thorough thorough cleaning. I think this place has the potential to be an amazing motel just needs a lot of updating"
