Park Central Hotel New York

8/10 Good

"Check-in at the lobby was easy and smooth. The only downside was the elevators. There are only two elevators serving all the floors of the hotel, which became an issue during a busy weekend, especially since it was NYC Marathon weekend. At one point, it took me about 20 minutes just to get to my room. Once I got into my room, I noticed the lamp was flickering, so I had to go down to the front desk to request maintenance. I also noticed that the TV displayed a welcome message for someone else’s name instead of mine. Housekeeping was another area that could use improvement. When my bedding was changed, only the top covers were replaced, not the pillowcases. Two days later, I requested another room cleaning and even removed the pillowcases myself so they would know they needed to be changed. Unfortunately, they were never replaced with clean ones. Overall, it was a great stay despite these minor inconveniences. The hotel has an excellent location, centrally located and within walking distance of many NYC attractions. The room was also very spacious, which I know isn’t always easy to find in New York City. I would still consider staying here again!"
