"For a quick overnight stay, it was quite nice. The check-in with Jerome was fine, even though he initially confused me with another guest who hasn't checked in yet. He got it worked out and all was well. My room was very spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The shower water was nice and hot, which felt amazing. The only small dings I have are: the cabinet which houses the refrigerator needs WD40 or something; the stained wood inside the cabinet, and the worn/stained carpet as you walk in. I'm not sure how old the hotel is. It's either not very old or they've kept it up pretty well for the most part. This is why I said small dings. None of them are things that would deter me from staying there again if I return to the area."

"Best Western Premier Richmond City Gateway is located just off of I-95 a few miles south of downtown Richmond in an industrial area that includes a sprawling Philip Morris complex and a large Amazon warehouse. I found the hotel and its grounds to be fairly clean and well kept. The staff was friendly in my limited interactions with employees. The complimentary breakfast was decent. My room was clean. The room was relatively spacious and had a mini fridge as well as a microwave. Options for walking in the vicinity of the hotel are fairly limited due to the industrial nature of the neighborhood. I was not sure what to expect when I booked my stay at this property, but I was positively impressed. I would likely stay here again the next time I pass through Central Virginia. Thank you very much to the hotel owners and staff for keeping things clean!"
