"BED BUGS! I chose this hotel of the convenience for our tournament weekend, and it turned into one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. We found bed bugs in our room after already settling in. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. Yes, the hotel switched us to another room, but once you find bed bugs, the damage is done. Instead of enjoying the weekend, we spent the rest of the trip stressed about our luggage, clothes, and possibly bringing bugs home with us. Travelers coming for events at the Henrico Sports & Event Center should think twice and inspect everything before unpacking. Cleanliness should be the bare minimum."

"The staff was attentive, the hotel was up to date and very clean, and there was food within the lobby of the hotel. I was very impressed. "

"Everything was great except the toilet in the bathroom was too low to the floor. I didn't think to request a handicap room, however, a friend that was staying in a handicap room when we were there said that the bed was too low to the floor and asked to be moved. Otherwise everything was great. Perhaps you may consult the ADA for suggestions on improving the accessibility."

"The room was very dirty. Stains everywhere. Dirty rag outside the door. I felt dirty the whole time I was staying there but thankfully it was only one night. I would never return. I don't usually leave reviews but I'm taking the time to leave this one, so no one makes the same mistake I did. "

"The room was dirty. The bathroom smelled terrible. The receptionist was rude. The elevator wasn't working, and when I told them I had knee problems, they simply said, "If you don't like it, take your money back and find another place." The entire building smells bad—specifically of cigarette smoke. The woman working the front desk is the rudest person I have ever met."
