Friendly hosts who let us pick lemons and limes from the trees in their yard. We felt very safe in the area, quick walk to the beach, and AMAZING sunrise views from the overlook!!! Wish we booked at least 3 nights! It is also a very quick drive in to Hilo. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Save yourself some resort fees and having to pay car parking If you are travelling light then try this peaceful location. If you like they also have B&B option, we stayed 2 nights and visited the National Volano park and Rainbow falls and Akaka falls
