While the location and garden area are undeniably lovely, the actual living space fell short of expectations.The unit itself is a very small, outdated studio that felt quite cramped for a comfortable stay. Although there was coffee provided, basic additions like creamer or milk were missing, which felt like an oversight at this price point.The owner was kind enough to give us a thorough walkthrough upon arrival, which we appreciated. However, some of the details shared didn’t quite align with reality—for example, we were told the bathroom featured “the finest soaps,” but they appeared to be dish soap.The outdoor garden space is beautiful and well-kept, but ultimately, guests are paying to sleep and relax indoors. For us, the interior accommodations simply didn’t justify the cost, even with the added charm of the exterior.Overall, while there are some positives, we don’t feel the experience matched what we expected for the price."

"Our family get away was on the New Year’s Day. The booking process is smooth and the instructions are clear. We arrived in the rain and were happy to open the door to a house that is clean and spacious to accommodate all our family members. Everyone can choose their own bed and easy access to the bathrooms. The condition of amenities is good and there are enough kitchenware and appliances to host a two-straight-day feasts. However, you might want to bring your own condiments if you have special taste demand. Brian, the host, was very responsive to answer our questions. The game room was a hit. We all have a good time.The location of the house is superb, easy access to the grocery store and specialty shops. Close to the charming town of Carmel, 17 Mile Drive and Pebble Beach is a plus. It was an unforgettable holiday getaways. All my family members agree that this place is worth every penny we spent and will definitely consider it again if we are to return to Carmel-by-the-Sea."
