"Great boutique hotel in Carmel. Close to the main areas in Carmel. Great customer service. Lovely comfortable rooms while not huge are beautiful furnished. Great free extras provided from early morning coffee, a delicious buffet breakfast with egg station, afternoon wine and not forgetting the wonderful chocolate chip cookies in the evening. A real treat."

"Enjoyed the hot tub. The property is very nice, but could use some new upholstery on the sofas and a new area rug in the great room. The beds and bedding were nice. The master bath was new and looked very modern. The kitchen was clean and modern.We had an issue with the smoke alarm going off two separate times late one night. Eventually someone came to take the battery out. The gentleman who came to help us understand the TV and how to program it, was very helpful.We would rent this property again."

"Amazing house with great communication from the host about every detail, clear labeling and instructions, all new kitchen. Love the artistic decor, furniture, etc. short walk to the beach. Impeccable taste and the Aunt Sophie theme was entertaining and instructive. Highly recommended!"

"Great place that in our opinion is actually nicer than the photos indicate. The garage that has been turned into a playroom was a huge hit for our kids. They especially loved the boombox that plays CDs and cassettes! We unfortunately had to deal with an ant invasion while we were there, but the property manager was very responsive in providing bait that was stronger than the plastic Raid traps scattered about the house. Property is located at the southern end of town, which requires either a drive or 15 minute walk into the center of Carmel by the Sea. Carmel River State Beach is about a 1/2-mile south."
