Clean room, comfortable bed and easy walk to town. The bathroom could use an upgrade, but they were clean. A few stains on the rug, but not terrible. Housekeeping supplied new towels and made the beds each day. Breakfast served was very simple.

We were there 5 days with our grandchildren We were well taken care of the entire time Th staff is kind Great location Pub onsight to order from Wonderful breakfast served by Esmeralda

I stay 2 nights and They charged $250 for pet fees 😡crazy!! They also charged $40.00 daily on amenities plus amenities tax 🤔 Carmel is a beautiful place to go too! But this hotel is crazy expensive. Oh! And breakfast is really poor.

The property was quaint and sweet but due to the fog the rooms were damp inside and smelled funny. the bath tub had mold around the bottom and there was no air conditioning. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms need some renovating.

Carmel by the Sea is a beautiful town and the hotel is very picturesque with lovely plants. The team there were very welcoming providing delicious cookies, wine and a continental breakfast. Unfortunately the walls are very thin and we were put next to a couple with a baby. Listening to the parents sing about sausages and shouting at the poor child was not the relaxing romantic break we hoped for!

This was our first visit to Hotel Carmel and it was a wonderful experience. The lobby staff, especially Anne, were inviting and helpful. We enjoyed the homey feel and it felt more like a B&B rather than a hotel. We will definitely be back!

It's a great option in Carmel!

My husband and I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is great. We walked to the many food and shopping options. Also, it was a nice walk to the beach. The staff was very nice and helpful. The free breakfast was great!
