"The property was well maintained, breakfast had hot food and a good selection of bagels, bread and pastries. I didn't like their policy that guests must make arrangements before 11 am to have their room serviced. It would be much better to have rooms serviced every other day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday). The rooms were well appointed but the upholstered chairs with a small round table would be better set with a work station and appropriate chair. "

"We have never traveled to Big Sur/Carmel By The Sea area before. I was hesitant to book at this hotel given that everything in the Carmel By The Sea area was a lot more than this nightly rate. This property also seemed to be far away from Carmel By The Sea. None of my fears were warranted. The location was absolutely perfect for getting around all areas that we wanted to travel on our trip. Carmel By The Sea was a quick and charming 6 minute drive. The hotel itself was very modern and clean, with a super cute lobby area with fireplace/books to read/games to play. The bar/restaurant was beautiful & cozy (with nightly happy hour), and there was an outdoor seating area to play corn hole, chat around a fire, etc. The room itself was really clean, had a fridge, bed was comfy, and the bathroom was modern/updated. We did not get to use the pool or hot tub, but looked fabulous. Overall, I am super happy that we stayed there, and would definitely stay there again!"

"This property was above and beyond anything i expected. The grounds are well kept, the cottages are cozy, beautiful and feels like home. The entire property is very peaceful and breathtaking. I will be staying at that property whenever i visit Carmel or Monterey!"

"Wonderful 8 nights at the Cottage. Relaxing and comfortable home environment. Patio sunny in the morning and moon and stars at night. Walk a few blocks to access 2 different Carmel beaches. Nice to walk the neighborhood and appreciate the unique, beautiful architecture of each home. Karen was very easy to communicate with. "
